Multan Enforcement directs Grade 1-16 employees to submit ACRs by July 31st

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement has instructed all employees and officers from grade 1 to 16 to submit their annual confidential reports (ACRs) to the administration branch by July 31st.

The directive follows instructions from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to field formations, emphasizing that non-compliance will result in action under the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020. Sources informed Customs Today that the FBR has mandated the timely submission of ACRs to facilitate the upgradation and promotion process.

In recent departmental promotion committee (DPC) meetings, several Customs employees from Multan were denied promotion and upgradation due to delays in submitting their ACRs. The FBR has reiterated the importance of submitting ACRs on time to prevent any hindrance in the promotion process.

Following the instructions from the Deputy Collector Headquarter, Customs employees have started updating their ACRs to ensure the promotion exercise can be finalized as per the available records. While the majority of Customs employees submit their ACRs on time, a few have missed the deadlines in the past, resulting in their exclusion from promotions.
