MULTAN: An Excise and Taxation team recovered 450 imported bottles of liquor during a raid. The estimated value of the recovered alcohol is Rs 2 million.
According to details, Director Excise Jaam Siraaj formed a special team comprising ETO Rana Asad, Inspector Rana Sohail Sarwar Ghulam Murtaza, Mohsin Yousaf and Shujaat Hussain. The team raided Khanewal Bypass Road and seized imported liquor loaded on the Mazda vehicle. The suspects were trying to shift the liquor to the other parts of southern Punjab.
The Excise teams captured liquor and arrested two persons named Nadir and Sabir on the spot. Excise teams were monitoring them very closely from last few days .The estimated value of the recovered alcohol from accused were Rs 2 millions
