MULTAN: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 790 million from July 2014 to February 2015.
The Excise and Taxation Property Registration Branch collected Rs 31 million under the head of property tax in February 2015. The department issued tax recovery notices to property owners in Multan city to pay liable tax.
Moreover, a target of Rs 360 million has been assigned to officials in Multan for the tax year 2014-15.
On the other hand, Excise and Taxation Multan Director Jaam Siraaj has vowed to achieve the set target for the current financial year. It is important to mention that up to 78 percent target under the head of property tax has been achieved.
