The Excise and Taxation Property Registration Branch had issued notices to more than 400 property owners for the payment of their due tax. Some of the property owners paid the tax just at the time of sealing of their properties.

However, a number of owners paid the tax right after issuance of notices. Most of the tax defaulters paid their taxes in the tax collection campaign.

According to officials, strict directives had been received from Excise and Taxation Director Jaam Siraaj for taking stern action against property owners for the recovery of tax.
