Multan I&I assigns special duties to curb smuggling attempts during Eid-ul-Azha holidays

MULTAN: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) has assigned special duties to employees for preventing smuggling attempts on Eid-ul-Azha

According to details, Director of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has deployed their employees in the field intelligence unit to curtail any attempt of smuggling. Smugglers will try to transport smuggled goods and vehicles on Eid-ul-Azha occasion. Deputy Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Muhammad Hamza Lak directed Customs field Intelligence staff to remain alert in the Jurisdiction on the Eid-ul-Azha.

Deputy Director Muhammad Hamza Lak has directed Customs Intelligence and Investigation staff to monitor the suspected routes of the Jurisdiction to thwart any smuggling attempt. Deputy Director has assigned special duties to Customs field Intelligence employees from 20th to 23rd July in the four various shifts.

Intelligence Officer Muhammad Jamil Haider will perform his duties on 20th (Tuesday) along with Zulfiqar Ali, Muhammad Afzal and Shakeel ur Rehman. Superintendent Customs Intelligence Nasir Saeed Malik will perform his duties with Shahid Mukhtar, Syed Qaswar Shah and Jamil Ghous on first day of Eid-ul –Azha 21st July.   Intelligence Officer Muhammad Adnan Inayatullah Chandio will perform his duty on 22nd July with Jamil Ghous, Shujat Ali, Usman Iqbal and Ateeq-ur-Rehman . Similarly, Intelligence Officer Syed Akmal Hashmi has been assigned duty along with Muhammad Afzal, Zulfiqar Ali and Saifullah on 3rd day of Eid-ul- Azha (23rd July).

Senior Intelligence Officer Hafiz Muhammad Younas will perform supervisory charge that employees are performing their duties on Eid-ul-Azha.
