Multan I&I earns Rs14.07m through auction of vehicles & miscellaneous goods

MULTAN: Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation generated Rs14.07 million through auction of confiscated miscellaneous goods and vehicles.

According to the details, Customs Intelligence held public auction of confiscated goods and vehicles lying in the State Warehouse of Customs Intelligence. Auction was held in the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan office located at the Raja Pur Khanewal Road Multan Bypass. There were large number of people who participated in the bidding of vehicles and different articles. Customs Intelligence offered 10 different lots of vehicles in the auction.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation successfully sold out 9 various vehicles of different models and brands including Honda Civic, Suzuki Jimny Jeep, Toyota Mark X, Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Hilux Surf and five different vehicles of Toyota Vitz. Customs Intelligence sold out nine different presented vehicles in Rs11.32 and only one Toyota Vitz remained unsold due to fewer bid offered by bidders in the auction.

Customs Intelligence also sold out four different lots of miscellaneous goods in Rs2.75 million during the auction which included 10 tyres, 990 bed sheets rolls, 500 kilograms iron & steel scrap, 25 different pieces of old and used HTV Rims, 288 bags of C5 hydrocarbon resin and 449 cartons of pineapple slices. Auctioned goods and vehicles were seized by Customs Intelligence and Investigation during their different field operations in the jurisdiction.

Deputy Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Khial Muhammad supervised the whole auction process of confiscated vehicles and goods along with Inspector Malik Muhammad Nasir.
