Multan Preventive recovers mass gainer & liquor from airport

MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Preventive recovered foreign origin mass gainer and liquor from luggage of a passenger at the Multan International Airport.

According to details, Customs Preventive team deputed at Multan International Airport tightened scrutiny of the coming goods on the directions of Collector Fayaz Anwar to prevent any attempt of smuggling. Customs staff deployed at the Multan International Airport has enhanced monitoring of coming goods and adopted special measures to prevent any sort of smuggling.

Customs Preventive staff deputed at the Multan International Airport initiated thorough scanning of goods to foil any attempt of smuggling at the Customs counter.

Multan Customs Preventive staff checked the luggage of the passengers arrived from Sharjah on flight PA-813 at 11:23 pm. Multan Customs staff recovered 24 jars of foreign origin brand of mass gainer and liquor bottle which were placed in the luggage of passenger. The net weight of recovered mass gainer was almost 5 kilogram.

The recovered mass gainer and liquor from the baggage of passenger was identified as Muhammad Ajmal resident of Multan. Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization has started interrogation from the passenger after the recovery of foreign origin mass gainer and liquor during examination of luggage. Passenger was detained for interrogation and Multan Customs authorities released said passenger after initial interrogation and seized foreign origin mass gainer and liquor under Customs act 1969 after framing seizure report.
