Multan RTO collects Rs 126m through tax amnesty scheme in January‏

MULTAN: Taxpayers from jurisdiction of Regional Tax Office Multan have whitened Rs 126 million black money under the government’s Investment Tax Scheme (ITS) so far.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has launched tax amnesty scheme for those taxpayers who want to whiten their black money after the payment of taxes .The Regional Tax Office Multan has collected Rs 126 million from 1,399 taxpayers through tax amnesty scheme during January .

Economic contributions of the non –filers will be increased with the passage of time .The Federal Board of Revenue have directed RTO Multan to shape out plan for the accomplishment of tax amnesty scheme that more non-filers file their tax returns through this scheme.
