Multan RTO collects Rs5.60b tax revenue during July

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office (RTO) has collected revenue of Rs5.60 billion in the heads of different taxes during the first month of the ongoing fiscal year 2019-20.

The statistics of Regional Tax Office showed an increase of almost Rs1.01 billion in tax collection during the first month of corresponding economic year 2018-19.

The Regional Tax Office collected Rs5.60 billion under the heads of income tax, sales tax and federal excise duty (FED).

The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office Multan has done Income Tax collection of Rs.3.012 billion during the first month of financial year 2019-20. Regional Tax Office Multan has collected almost Rs.2.50 billion under the head of Sale taxes for the duration of July 2019-20.

The Regional Tax Office made revenue collection of Rs105 million under the head of federal excise duty (FED) after the end of July 2019-20.

The overall tax collection target of RTO Multan shows increase of Rs.1 billion from the matching economic year 2018-19 and it will give better tax collection prospect against the fixed targets in the upcoming months.
