This initiative is expected to bring greater convenience to tax-compliant individuals, allowing them to manage their mobile services seamlessly while remaining compliant with tax regulations.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has moved to support this process by automatically providing telecom companies with a list of taxpayers who have filed their income tax returns.

This measure is part of a broader effort to enhance compliance and facilitate smoother access to essential services for the taxpaying population. Telecom operators are now mandated to reactivate mobile services for compliant taxpayers within one to two business days.
