Multan RTO issues tax notices to owners of 80 industrial units‏

MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office of the Federal Board of Revenue has issued notices to the owners of 80 industries for payment of their outstanding taxes.

Sources told Customs Today that the Regional Tax Office Inland Revenue inspectors have recently carried out inspection of the Industrial Estate Phase I. The purpose of the survey was to determine tax collection from the industrial units.

Inspectors of Inland Revenue conducted survey of 250 industries located in the area. After completion of the survey, owners of 80 industrial units found defaulters of income and sales taxes.

Now FBR has issued them notices for the payment of their dues otherwise tax authorities will take strict action against them.
