Multan RTO organizes awareness campaign for online registration of NTN

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) has organized an awareness campaign in the Children Hospital Chowk Fowara on Monday for online filing of income tax returns and registration for NTN in the jurisdiction.

Sources told Customs Today that the Regional Tax Office has constituted four member teams for organizing different awareness seminars in the city. The purpose of public awareness campaign is to bring large number of public in tax net to broaden the scope.

The Federal Board of Revenue has simplified its online tax return filing system but it was observed that people were unable to file tax returns online due to inexperience and special teams of FBR will educate them about procedure of online tax filing.

The Regional Tax Office formed four members team with a special task to aware taxpayers in the city. Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue Mukhtiar Hussain Thaheem, Inspector Inland Revenue HRM Division Muhammad Asif, Inspector Inland Revenue Withholding Tax Zone Muhammad Shahzad Rasool Bhatti and Upper Division Clerk NTN Cell Noman Safdar are working for taxpayer awareness drive.

The Federal Board of Revenue is trying to educate taxpayers for filing of tax returns and special team of Regional Tax Office has organized awareness seminar about online filing of income tax returns. Awareness team of Regional Tax Office is educating taxpayers to filing income tax returns on time to avoid any inconvenience after the due date of filing.
