Multan RTO organizes training session for improving tax collection

MULTAN: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Regional Tax Office (RTO) conducted special training programme for withholding agents for improving the collection of taxes.

Regional Tax Office is taking revolutionary steps for the enlargement of tax collection revenue. The purpose of training of withholding agents was aimed at monitoring and improving the collection and deposition of withholding tax is being conducted at Regional Tax Office Multan.

Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Haleem Asim lectured the participants about new system of withholding tax collection and he said that training programme for the computerization of the Withholding Tax Audit will assist tax offices in tax collection .Training programme will strengthen the capabilities of withholding agents and it will also enhance collection of withholding tax in upcoming months by enforcing provisions efficiently and effectively.

Accountant Mohammad Usman Khan, Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue Mukhtiar Hussain Thaheem along with other officers from Regional Tax Office Bahawalpur and Regional Tax Office Multan participated in the training programme held in the Conference room at Regional Tax Office
