MUMBAI: Mumbai Customs rallied splendidly from a 0-2 deficit to share the spoils with Union Bank of India in a 2-2 draw in an Elite Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2015-2016, and played at the Cooperage football ground on Sunday evening. The bankers led 2-1 at half-time.
Union Bank of India scored two quick goals in as many minutes through Shravan Shetty and Titus Uttankar to grab a commanding 2-0 lead. But Customs fought back and managed to score two goals in each half to force a draw and division of two points. Mohammed Ishaq and Hekmat Singh scored for Customs. The next Elite Division match will be played between G.M. Sports and Central Bank of India on Monday, November 16 at 3.00 pm.
