MUMBAI: APM Terminals Mumbai handled 1.99 million TEUs container volumes in 2014 and became the India’s busiest container terminal.
HS Paris, part of the China Shipping Containers reached APM Terminals, Mumbai for the first time on March 20, 2015.
The maiden call was made as part of the Middle East-Indian Subcontinent-North America (MINA) Service, jointly operated by the United Arab Shipping Company, Hanjin Shipping, CMA CGM and China Shipping. The 6,500 TEU capacity HS Paris completed 1,292 import and export moves in approximately 12 hours, for a berth productivity of 106 moves per hour.
