ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Saturday approved demand of grants worth Rs 1,572,901,000 (about Rs 1.6 billion) for Climate Change Division for the fiscal year 2016-17.
The demand of grants, presented to the House by Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar. The demand grants include 545,901,000 to meet expenditures of Climate Change Division while Rs 1,027,000,000 for development expenditure of Climate Change.
