NA Standing Committee on Commerce holds meeting to review performance of PTB

PESHAWAR: The 16th meeting of National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Commerce was held here on Thursday under the Chairmanship of Siraj Muhammad Khan.

Participant of the meeting thoroughly discussed the performance of Pakistan Tobacco Board (PTB) and considered the use of tobacco as alternate source of producing energy.

On the occasion a detailed briefing was given by the Chairman PTB regarding working of the board.

The meeting among others was attended by MNAs including Chaudhry Muhammad Shahbaz Babar, Chaudhry Asadur Rehman, Muhammad Pervaiz, Waseem Akhtar Sheikh, Mian Muhammad Rasheed, Tahira Aurangzeb, Zeb Jaffar, Shezadi Umerzadi, Mian Javed Lateef, Syed Ali Hassain Gillani, Mehreen Raza, Nazir Ahmed, Shazia Marri, Mussarrat Zeb, Sajida Begum, Dr. Fouzia Hamid, Shezra Mansab Ali and Federal Commerce Secretary, Arbab Shahzad.
