KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB-Karachi) has arrested a proprietor Noman Ali Bhatti of a business firm named M/s Expose International, for causing Rs 30 million loss to the national exchequer.
NAB officials here on Thursday said the accused being presented before the Accountability Court for remand in judicial custody has already been declared a proclaimed offender.
A reference was filed against the accused at Accountability Court Karachi for procuring illegal sales tax refund through fake invoices. Noman Ali Bhatti, failing to appear before the Accountability Court was consequently declared Proclaimed Offender (PO) and arrested by NAB.
