NAB Chief lauds KPK Bar Council’s efforts in eradication of corruption

ISLAMABAD: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on Wednesday lauded efforts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Bar Council in eradication of corruption especially through active involvement in Bureau’s Awareness and Prevention Campaign.

He was talking to a delegation of KPK Bar Council led by its Vice Chairman, Muhammad Sareer, which called on him here. Prosecutor General Accountability (PGA) NAB, Waqas Qadeer Dar

was also present. Members of KPK Bar Council discussed various matters and appreciated NAB’s role in eradication of corruption especially during period of its present management.

Bureau’s processes, especially SOPs, timelines for completion of cases and introduction of Monitoring and Evaluation system was appreciated.

The delegation asked Qamar Zaman Chaudhry to visit KPK Bar Council during his next visit to Peshawar.

The Chairman also supported KPK Bar Council’s efforts for strengthening of institutions and desired interaction between Bar Councils.
