LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team today faced severe resistance from the guards of Hamza Shahbaz Sharif while they reached his residence to arrest him.
According to the details, NAB team wanted to arrest Hamza Shahbaz on solid evidence over his involvement in money laundering and owned assets beyond legal income. His bodyguards threatened NAB team and tore their cloths. NAB team also obtained arrest warrants of Hamza.
Supreme Court in its verdict of March 19, 2019 on (civil petition no. 18 of 2017) clearly explain that there is no need to inform the accused prior to his arrest. National Accountability Bureau warned that all those persons who will create hurdles in assigning legal duties will be dealt with iron hands.
