LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) distributed Rs339.29million among affectees and government departments in a ceremony held on Friday. Barrister Zafarullah Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Human Rights, was the chief guest who handed over the cheques to the affectees and government departments concerned.
Addressing the ceremony, Barrister Zafarullah Khan appreciated the efforts of DG under the leadership of Qamar Zaman Chaudhry and NAB team for actively pursuing corruption cases and making recoveries of the embezzled amounts. Director General NAB reiterated that the NAB will continue to pursue the corrupt under the leadership of Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudary so that we may make corruption-free Pakistan.
