NAB hands over cheques of Rs45.323m to departments

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General Shahzad Saleem has handed over cheques worth Rs 45.323 million to different departments.

According to a press release, the amount was recovered through plea bargain after the NAB, Lahore, completed investigations into numerous corruption cases, including investigations against the management of Gujranwala Irrigation Employees Cooperative Housing Society, officials of Public Works Department (PWD), Lahore and officials of Citizen Community Board, Sheikhupura and defaulters of banks.
