ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), after recovering Rs4.06 million from a local company, has given the cheque of the said amount to the Iranian Consul General in Balochistan.
The NAB recovered the amount from Khalid Aziz, proprietor of MYKAB, a Pakistani company which cheated an Iranian company and also caused loss of over Rs3.4 million to national exchequer.
The bureau’s provincial director general handed over the cheque to Iranian Consul General Syed Hassan Yahyavi during a ceremony, said a press release issued on Sunday. After an investigation, NAB recovered the amount from the accused and filed a reference in an accountability court which is under trial.
