LAHORE: Director General National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore Shahzad Saleem Thursday handed over Rs 5 million recovered-money cheque to Haroon-ur-Rasheed, General Manager Operations Gujranwala Electric Power Company (Gepco).
According to NAB spokesman, an accused Malik Khalid Mehmood, an industrial defaulter of Rs 20.7 million, was arrested in November 2016, and he had opted for quarterly payment plan in the accountability courts.

The accused is owner of Usman Steel Furnace, situated in Daska. It is pertinent to mention here that NAB Lahore had returned Rs 3 billion to Lesco, Gepco, Mepco and Fesco since January 2017 till date.
