NAB initiates probe against ZTBL officials

MULTAN: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started probe against management of Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) Ahmadpur East over embezzlement in agricultural loans issued to farmers.

The NAB received a complaint alleging that OfficeRsof ZTBL Ahmadpur East involved in heating/defrauding public by embezzling amounts of loans issued in the names of farmers.

Taking action of the complaint, the DG NAB Multan has asked to probe into the matter.

In a press release issued by NAB Multan on Thursday, NAB authorities asked the general public that whoever has reservation/complaint or information regarding any fraud or embezzlement in issuance of loan by ZTBL Ahmadpur East may contact NAB Multan along with his CNIC, complaint and all relevant documents (if any) in support of that claim so that a action can be taken against culprits as per law.

DG NAB Brig ® Farooq Naser Awan SI (M) said the NAB Multan was following ‘Zero Tolerance Against Corruption’ policy.
