LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab has arrested Seven high-ranking Customs officials for allegedly causing Rs180 million losses to the national exchequer and misuse of their authority.
The arrested officials include Additional Collector Amir Raheel, former assistant collectors Muhammad Tufail, Khalid Mahmood, Muhammad Afzal Dogar, Muhammad Akram, Sheikh Nadeem Latif and Syed Abbas.
Sources said that the Customs officials imported raw material under the name of a company and sold it at inflated prices.
