NAB picked up accused in Modaraba case

KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi has arrested an accuse Shah Rafiuddin in Modaraba case here on Monday.

The accuse who was chief agent of Sun Land Crops Care Pvt Ltd, deceived a large group of innocent people from Manshera, Abbottabad and adjoining areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province by collecting huge money under the garb of investments worth billion of rupees and then disappeared after giving some months promised profit to them, said a press release issued here by NAB-Karachi.

The two Directors of the firm namely Ehsan Shah Shirazi and Syed Azhar Hussain Shirazi who had been arrested on May 15 this year, were involved in defrauding public at large by offering attractive monthly profit (Modaraba). Later on, they disappeared and did not respond to the investors. They neither returned profit nor principal amount to the investors.

Meanwhile, the NAB-Karachi has asked the affectees of Sun Land Crops Care (Pvt) Ltd to submit their claims to it for resolving their grievances /refund of amount or contact at Phone # 021-99207804 & 021-99207866.
