NAB seeks tax record of MNA Ch. Muneer & Mian Imtiaz from Multan RTO

MULTAN: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) wrote to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) and sought tax records of Member National Assembly Chaudhry Muhammad Muneer and Mian Imtiaz Ahmad.

Sources told Customs Today that NAB has started investigation against two members of national assembly including Chaudhry Muhammad Muneer and Mian Imtiaz Ahmad in allegations of assets beyond means.

NAB has requested Regional Tax Office Multan to provide tax details of M/s Hajvery Oil Industries Ltd, M/s Al -Meeraj Cotton Ginning and M/s Oil Mills, M/s Bismillah Traders Cotton Ginning and Oil Mills and Himalaya Feeds. These companies are located in the jurisdiction of Regional Tax Office Multan.

NAB has asked commissioner Regional Tax Office to provide tax details of said companies so that interrogation against them should be preceded. The Regional Tax Office has started compiling tax records of said companies and all tax records of Chaudhry Muhammad Muneer and Mian Imtiaz Ahmad will be provided very soon to NAB.
