LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned officials and board members of the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) on different dates from June 11 to 20.
NAB had started probe against LWMC management in the wake of Punjab companies scandal and took important record in custody. Those summoned included former MPA Mehar Ishtiaq on June 11, Nasir Javed on June 12, Khawaja Salman Rafique June 13, Nadeem Babar June 19 and Khawaja Ahmad Hassaan has been summoned on June 20. NAB had demanded LWMC MD’s record from secretary of Local bodies but due to non-compliance, NAB team seized it during a raid in the past.
