The lady officer was required to join her duties on 04.06.2019 but she did not join her official duty and instead requested for extension in leave which was not approved.

She was also directed to report for duty and informed her about disciplinary action in case of failure. However, she failed to join her duties as per law.

Consequently, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the Lady Officer and she was served with show cause notice dated 13.09.2019 on charges of “misconduct”. In order to meet the ends of justice, a Final Show Cause Notice dated 28.10.2019 was also issued but the officer failed to join her duties. As the lady officer was deliberately avoiding to join duties, the major penalty of “Removal from Service” on account of her serious misconduct has been imposed upon her by the Competent Authority.
