NAB to receive public complaints on 28th

PESHAWAR: The National Accountably Bureau, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will receive public complaints at its regional office here on June 28 (Thursday) from 2pm to 4pm.

According to a statement issued on Monday, Farmanullah Khan, the provincial director general of the bureau, will personally hear the public complaints. The complaints and scrutiny committee members would also remain present on the occasion.

It was stated that the NAB officials would receive all kinds of public complaints pertaining to cheating public, land grabbing, illegal allotment of plots, illegal housing schemes, bank frauds, and bribery.

The complainants have been advised to submit written applications along with copies of computerised national identity cards accompanied with essential basic documentary proofs.

It was stated that the accountability body would carry out impartial inquiry into the complaints so that the people involved in different crimes could be awarded punishment as per the relevant laws in order to overcome the menace of corruption in the province.
