The board meeting also decided to convert the complaints into inquiries against PTI MPA Ghzanfar Abbas Cheena, his brother Additional Advocate General Muhammad Sher Cheena and the officials of Bhakkar Revenue Department.

The Cheena brothers are accused of transferring government land to their names with the connivance of Revenue Department officials. The NAB has also accused them of making assets beyond their means.

Though the regional board has decided to convent the complaints against Cheena brothers into inquiry but final endorsement of the inquiry would be given by the NAB executive board.

Moreover, the NAB regional board has also approved inquiry against PML-N MNA Nasir Bosal. He is accused of embezzlement in government projects along with using substandard material in government infrastructure projects. The board has decided to start inquiry against grade 20 officer Khalid Sher Dill. Khalid is accused of making assets beyond means.

However, final approval of the inquiry against him would be given by the NAB Executive Board. It is learnt that the board has decided to file reference against the accused who allegedly recruited stenographers in Punjab Police illegally.
