NAB’s newly-recruited 96 IOs being trained on modern lines

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Police Training College Sihala Tuesday inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to train newly recruited 96 Investigation Officers (IOs) of Bureau on modern lines.  It would be the second batch of IOs who would be trained at same training facility. Earlier in 2015 a batch of 104 IOs of NAB were trained successfully at Sihala.

As per details, NAB through National Testing Service (NTS) had advertised 97 posts of IOs for which 94,165 applications were received.

After scrutiny, 80,377 candidates were called for written test conducted by the NTS followed by psychological test. After screening test, the Departmental Selection Committee of NAB carried out interviews of short listed candidates at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. On March 28 this year, NAB issued offers of appointment letters to 96 successful candidates.
