NEW YORK: With all the exoplanets we have been discovering over the past several years and with more and more testing and technological development towards manned travel to other planets, NASA has recently declared that it is quite likely that we will be able to prove the existence of alien life sometime within the next 10 to 20 years.
According to National Aeronautics and Space Administration chief scientists Ellen Stofan, at a public panel in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, “I believe we are going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth in the next decade and definitive evidence in the next 10 to 20 years. We know where to look, we know how to look, and in most cases we have the technology.”
Additionally, NASA interim director of heliophysics Jeffery Newmark comments, “It’s definitely not an if, it’s a when.”
Stofan makes sure to explain “We are not talking about little green men. We are talking about little microbes.”
