Nawaz forms body for privatisation of Neelum-Jhelum project

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced to privatise Neelum-Jhelum hydropower project to draw investment for the project.

According to statement issued by the PM House, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, while chairing the 15th meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Energy, has decided to constitute a committee for the privatisation of the project. The premier took the decision after long delay in the project which also have also increased the cost.
