KUALA LUMPUR: Naza Premira, the official importer and distributor of the Vespa brand, has launched the new (deep breath) Vespa LT 150 3V IE in Malaysia. Assembled in Vietnam, the new LT 150 comes with an air-cooled, 154.8 cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine with electronic fuel injection.
Total power output is rated at 12 hp at 7,500 rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Transmission is of the CVT variety. Stopping power comes courtesy of 140 mm rear drum brake while the up front, a 200 mm disc brake is featured.
A single arm with helical spring and double-acting hydraulic shock absorber makes up the front suspension setup while the rear comprises of a single shock absorber with adjustable preload feature for four individual settings.

In keeping with the distinct Vespa styling, the new LT 150 retains the trademark aesthetic appeal while electronic fuel injection improves efficiency by up to 30% when compared to its predecessor. It features a dual-toned saddle with embossed Vespa badging, Italian flags on both sides and signature round headlamp.
The Vespa LT 150 3V IE is available in two colours – red and orange. Basic selling price is quoted at RM9, 888.
