KARACHI: In a bid to further smooth cash management, the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and Mobilink have signed an agreement to facilitate the bank’s urban and rural customers in the country.
As per the agreement, the NBP customers will have the opportunity to conduct financial transactions, including intra and inter-bank funds transfer payments at their convenience by visiting their nearest Mobicash retailers and franchises, it said.
NBP President Syed Iqbal Ashraf said that mobile financial service is another step towards enhancing the outreach and providing convenience to the customers. “This agreement also enables us to bridge the financial gap in the under-banked areas of Pakistan,” he added.
