NBP trains NAB officers

LAHORE: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has trained the investigation officers of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) through a five-day programme on ‘Financial Crimes Investigation’.

The certificate distribution ceremony was held in NBP Staff College Karachi. The event was attended by the presence of Syed Iqbal Ashraf, President NBP, Lt Col (r) Siraj ul Naeem, DG NAB Karachi, Qamar Husain, Head, NBP T& OD Division & Mahmood Akhtar Nadeem, SVP/Director, Staff College Karachi.

Addressing the audience, Qamar Husain mentioned the importance of this training program & congratulated his team for successfully organizing this training event.

President Syed Iqbal Ashraf expressed his gratitude to NAB for reposing confidence on NBP for training their officers. He added this program is a sheer example of a great partnership between two organizations of national stature that would go a long way in benefitting the entire banking industry.

While elaborating NBP’s role in collection of govt revenue in an efficient & transparent manner, he highlighted the process improvements that have been introduced to serve the national exchequer in a better way.
