NDP Toyota Hilux Surf impounded by Customs Intelligence Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad took into possession a Non-Duty-Paid Toyota Hilux Surf. The market value of the impounded vehicle is Rs03million involving duty and taxes of Rs01.5 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director Customs Intelligence Rana Irfan Shouqat received secret information about a non-duty-paid Toyota Hilux vehicle plying no the road. He immediately constituted a team comprising Intelligence Officer Mansoor Nasir, Irshad Ali, Mohsin Raza Shah, Sepoy Mammad-ul-Hassan, Zeshan Farooq and Naveed Ahmed.

The customs team intercepted a vehicle bearing registration No: CD-3665 Sindh, Model 1983, and asked its owner, identified as Faiz Rasool son on Muhammad Ali, a resident of Chak No: 58 RB, Rata Joya Faisalabad, to produce the legal documents regarding the possession of the vehicle. But the owner failed to provide the same. So the customs team took into possession Toyota Hilux Surf and registered a case against its owner.
