KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom has introduced NTPro service to its customers. Issuing a statement, the state-owned telecommunication company said that its postpaid mobile phone users can now make and receive phone calls all over the world even if there is no GSM network if they have Internet access.
According to the company, users need to download ‘NTPro App’ on their smartphone and open an account by using their mobile number.
Users will get their username and password after texting ‘sub ntpro’ to 1428, according to the statement. “This service allows the users to make phone calls when they are abroad even without subscribing roaming service,” reads the statement.
