ISLAMABAD: NEPRA has accorded approval to extend agreement on importing 74 megawatt electricity from Iran. The agreement on import of electricity was extended under the approval of ECC.
As per NEPRA approval has been given to purchase electricity from Iran at the rate of Rs 9.80 per unit.
The agreement between NTDC and Iranian company TAWA Mir had terminated in 2013 which has now been extended by NEPRA.
