Nestle net profit up 16pc at Rs 326.38 crore

New Delhi: Nestle India announced a 15.87 percent increase in net profit at Rs 326.38 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 31 last year.

The FMCG major The company had posted a net profit of Rs 281.66 crore during the October-December quarter of 2013-2014. It follows January-December financial year. Net sales of the company during the quarter under review rose to Rs 2,516.1 crore, up 11.71 percent as against Rs 2,252.3 crore in the same period of previous year, Nestle said in a BSE filing.

The company said net sales during the year stood at Rs 9,806.27 crore compared to Rs 9,061.90 crore in the previous fiscal.
