ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) strongly media reports in which it is stated that National Accountability Bureau not allowed members of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) to visit NAB lock-up.
In a statement, it is stated that NAB is national institution which is striving hard to curb corruption in all segments of society. NAB never denied any access to its lock-up. The statement further stated that NAB upholds self-respect and dignity of every individual and journalist community of Lahore visited NAB lock-up and shared their views about the condition and atmosphere of the lock-up.
The on-going propaganda against NAB is the part of campaign organized by those who are involved in corruption, but NAB will continue to perform its duty according to law.
