Going by their analysis, the phone appears to be a leap in terms of hardware. Samsung traditionally has been weak in terms of hardware and design, but now after falling behind it is starting to improve. High-end phones like the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4 brought a new metal industrial design, and the great news is that the same ID is trickling down to lower end phones like the Galaxy A3.

Unlike its previous offerings, the A3 is quite well packed in terms of features. It boasts the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 64-bit architecture and LTE support, 1.5GB of RAM, a 4.5-inch qHD AMOLED display and a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat running Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and offers niceties like a microSD slot and a dual-SIM functionality, which appeal to people at the low end of the market. Clearly, looks like Samsung has finally a phone that may appeal to person who may opt for the Moto G.
