New shipping feeder service from Karachi Port to UAE launched

KARACHI: New feeder service to United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been launched from Karachi Port.

According to Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, regular shipping service to Fujairah and Khorfakkan has been launched from Karachi Gateway Terminal.

First feeder ship has reached Karachi Gateway Terminal.

New service is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s supply chain and this an important progress for Pakistan’s trade amid regional shipping changes.

Chairman KPT Rear Admiral Shahid Ahmed welcomed strengthening of maritime links and said Pakistani trade will benefit from UAE’s modern logistics network.

KGTL’s expressed commitment to strengthen maritime trade.

In this regard, the efforts of Khurram Aziz, CEO of Karachi Gateway Terminal, are commendable, Junaid Anwar Chaudhry said.
