TOKYO: Previously it was announced that the Pre-Sequel along with Borderlands 2 will be making its way to current-gen consoles.
However, Gearbox doesn’t want to stop just yet as the studio has confirmed another big news for its PAX South panel tomorrow. Randy Pitchford, the CEO of Gearbox Software revealed the plans while holding a Q&A session with fans at the event.
They will be discussing the next full entry in the Borderlands franchise, which most likely would be named as Borderlands 3.
Previous games in the series used the formula of four-player cooperative play, but with the power of current-gen machines, the developers may take it up a notch and allow more players into it.
The four-player gameplay is quite fun already, but adding more players to the game’s universe would only create more havoc, which is what the franchise is popular for.
We can only predict at the moment, but the good news is that we will not have to wait for too long to see what Gearbox has in store for us. Just sleep it off tonight and user will have some exciting new details tomorrow.
The most recent entry in the series was called repetitive by a lot of players; which is why the developers need to up their game and bring something fresh and new to Borderlands 3.
As for now, we have got the next-gen version of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel to look forward to, which will hit the stores on March 24, 2015.
