Newly confirmed assistant collectors to visit chambers of commerce in December

SIALKOT: All the assistant collectors, who are recently confirmed by the Establishment Division, will visit all chambers of commerce and industry of the country.

Sources told Customs Today that the assistant collectors, who were confirmed by the Establishment Division some days ago, will visit the chambers of commerce and industry as part of their job to introduce themselves to the chamber officials. Sources said that the Establishment Division confirmed these assistant collectors by the proper recommendation of the Federal Board of Revenue  on merit basis.

Sources told that assistant collectors confirm in service after two years from date of appointment on behalf of their reputation and performance in service according to rules and regulations of government of Pakistan. Sources told that the two years probation period of confirmed assistant collectors have been ended and now their seniority list is also will prepare every year to promote in next grade.

Sources told that the Federal Board ff Revenue (FBR) has intimated all confirmed assistant collectors that the FBR will constitute a delegation of all confirmed assistant collectors and this delegation will visit all Chambers of Commerce and Industries step by step while the FBR will issue schedule for the purpose of visit.

Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhary told Customs Today that the FBR has not issued schedule for the visit of assistant collector to all Chambers of Commerce and Industries in the country when schedule will issued then the confirmed Assistant collectors will start their visit. He told that the FBR has made a plan to issue the schedule in first week of December 2016.
