Newly-discovered well to deliver 17mcf gas per day

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) will be able to get 17 million cubic feet (17mcf) of gas per day from newly-discovered well Soghri-1 in Attock.

As per details, the well would also deliver 220 barrels per day of condensate through 32/64 inches choke at well head flowing pressure of 3,275 Psi.

After this discovery, the OGDCL has reached the 100th landmark of hydrocarbon well discovery and Soghri-1 well is 100pc owned and operated by the OGDCL, said a press release. OGDCL contributes to 44pc of Pakistan’s oil and 30pc of national gas output. OGDCL is the top tax paying company in Pakistan with annual tax payments surpassing Rs50 billion. It employs over 14,000 strong workforces, the release added.
