He said the command only experienced some delays in payments and was optimistic that due revenue will be collected as soon as work resumes fully.

The collected revenue, according to Edike, is 39.65 percent higher in attaining the annual target, compared to N216,337,949,557 collected within the same period in 2014.

Currently, the command had collected 91 percent of its targeted revenue for this year, achieved despite declining volume of imports, restrictions on foreign exchange, affecting over 40 items, and general economic uncertainty occasioned by the elections.
