ABUJA: Controller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), retired Colonel Hameed Ali, has said that the service under his leadership would soon begin the process of reviewing the salaries of its officers and men.

At an interactive session with the House of Representatives committee on Customs and Excise in Abuja, Ali said the current salary and other packages of his men are “nothing to write home about,” considering the volume of revenue generated by the service.
